Inspired by artists like Kode9 and 2562, and especially by Mark Pritchard (Harmonic 313), [moos] are the Dutch producer and VJ duo (Maurice Dohmen, Utrecht and Jorrit Poelen, San Francisco)

Known for their eclectic live sets, including homemade dubstep,minimal and electro, in 2009 they placed second in the Dutch dance producers live competition Grote Prijs NL 2009, receiving much critical acclaim, and played live in the Milky Way in Amsterdam.

Before that, they played at internet radio station DeepMonday.nl, for 3voor12 in Utrecht and Dordrecht, and did a special live performance via Internet. In this performance live streaming visuals from the USA were mixed with live dubstep from Utrecht, the result was streamed live via an internet TV channel on eclectro.nl.

Live [moos] uses laptops, MIDI controllers, and FX gear to create on the spot new interpretations and remixes of all his tracks.

His latest track "Kolpophobia" will be released as part of the WooferCookers glitch-hop compilation 'Phobia'.

"Dubstep feels like homecoming. The musical journey started years ago with Detroit techno and Berlin electro, plus a little bit of drum ‘n’ bass and dub. From 2008 on it is mainly dubstep but we're always aiming to add our own special flavour to the genre."
